Publishing Producer Internship
Internship
Are you passionate about games and looking for a second or third-year internship? Well, stick around. We might be looking for you!
Who are “we”?
Iceberg Interactive is an international video game publisher located in Haarlem. We work closely with development teams worldwide and sell our games on several digital platforms such as Steam, EPIC Games Store, PlayStation Store, Xbox Marketplace, and Nintendo eShop.
As a production intern, you’ll work closely with our producers Lea and Lukas, and test games primarily for PC. You’ll also help us review potential new games for our future lineup. This position puts you right in the middle of it all, giving you a great impression of the games industry’s production and publishing processes.
Some of the things you’ll be helping out with:
- Reviewing potential new games and testing our current games, including DLCs, patches and updates
- Writing short assessments of in-development builds and milestones
- Helping out the producers with tasks
- Tracking and documenting bugs using our existing tools
- Brainstorming about solutions to game design problems
What we have to offer:
- An informative internship with a lot of daily variety (four to six months, 40 hours a week)
- An international work environment
- Good counseling and the amount of responsibility that suits you
- An informal and relaxed atmosphere
- Lots of freedom for your own initiatives and solutions
- Your name will be in the credits of all the games you’ll work on
- A compensation of €400,- a month
What we’re looking for:
- You are a college or university (HBO or WO) student enrolled in a study relevant to this internship, such as Game Design, Game Development, Interaction Design, or Media Studies.
- You play games. Indie, AAA, casual; the more expansive your field of interest, the better.
- You know your way around Steam.
- You’re interested in the industry behind the games: the people, the business, and how games are made.
- You work accurately, have an opinion, and aren’t afraid to share it.
- You are legally entitled to study/work in the Netherlands
- You can travel to our office in Haarlem on a sustainable, daily basis. We don’t offer a remote internship.
This internship is for about five months and starts in February 2025. Interested?

We’re looking forward to hearing from you!
