At Iceberg Interactive, we publish independent video games from all over the world. That means we find them, fund them, manage them, hype them, share them, distribute them, sell them – and, of course, play them! It’s a lot of work, that’s why we’re looking for a new PR intern to help out our Marketing team.
What will you be doing?
As a Public Relations Intern you will support the Marketing team with tasks such as maintaining coverage reports, updating & enriching press lists and keeping track of competitors. You will also help discuss and plan campaigns, and suggest innovative ways to gather publicity for our games. The role is suited to a versatile candidate with good research and organisational skills.
Beyond marketing, you will get to spend time testing new games and helping to assess potential new projects with our production and business development team, gaining valuable insight into the complete process of creating, marketing and releasing an indie video game.
Internship tasks:
– Discover and apply for exciting events for our games to participate in
– Monitor the internet for coverage
– Maintain databases and reports
– Help to promote our games internationally
– Help to implement Marketing plans
– Collaborate with the developers of our games
– Test new video games

What we’re looking for:
– You are a college or university (HBO or WO) student enrolled in a study that is relevant to this internship (communication, marketing, content, etc.)
– You are legally entitled to study/work in the Netherlands
– You have a passion for video games and curiosity about the industry behind them
– You are a creative at heart, and love making things
– You are proactive and aren’t afraid to pitch your ideas
– You are able to travel to Haarlem on a sustainable, daily basis
